Online Attraction
May 2023
Like many couples these days, we met on a dating app. Gabi attracted Carlos with her beauty, culture, and passport full of stamps. Carlos attracted Gabi with his intelligence, sense of humor, and love for animals. The very first photo exchanged between them was Carlos being “run over” by a llama. Little did they know that this simple match would change their lives forever.
First Date
May 2023
Our first date was at a wine bar in São Paulo. Between glasses of wine and Gabi’s travel stories, Carlos gathered the courage to give a kiss — the first of many. It was also the beginning of a great adventure together.
The Relationship Begins
June 2023
After the first date, we started seeing each other frequently. Carlos quickly grew fond of the trio Morgana, Lisa, and Spock, which melted Gabi’s heart. Around Valentine’s Day, Carlos asked what we would do for the occasion, and Gabi made the official request. Carlos accepted without hesitation — and from that moment, they were inseparable.
Starting a Life Together
June 2023
Since Carlos already had plans to move to the United States in August, we decided to live together early on, testing this new love intensely. It was intense, it was light, it was perfect — the confirmation that it was true love.
Carlos Moves to Chicago
August 2023
Carlos began his MBA at the University of Chicago. Long months of video calls and flights between São Paulo and Chicago began. Despite the distance, we never stopped being present in each other’s lives.
First Trip Together
November 2023
Our first trip was to Norway, where we saw the northern lights and rode reindeer sleighs. There, under the polar sky, we realized we wanted to share not just travels, but our whole lives.
The Engagement
July 2024
At another wine bar in São Paulo, Carlos proposed to Gabi. It was a joyful “yes,” celebrated among friends and at the bars of Vila Madalena, just the way we love.
The Homecoming
March 2025
Carlos returned to Brazil for good in March 2025. Gabi spent some time traveling the world and came back in June. At their reunion, side by side once again, they took the big step: setting the date of their wedding, April 19, 2026.
Choosing the Venue
July 2025
We traveled to Uruguay and chose Bodega Spinoglio as the place to celebrate our union. We hope each of you will live unforgettable moments with us on that day.
